I constantly used to ponder what wealthy people do to preserve their wealth; and also what makes one the richest of the lot. Came across some really interesting thoughts, I am posting these here:
ü..The wealthy have a second love of money as a creation of their own, resembling the affection of authors for their own poems, or of parents for their children, besides that natural love of it for the sake of use and profit which is common to them and all men.
ü..Compete and win coz unless one has lost, another cannot gain; remember Darwin’s theory of natural selection and survival of the fittest.
ü..Motivation – the rich gets ice in summer and poor get it in winter, break-even for both, of course in different ways.
ü..That we could be filthy rich and not behave as the normal rich behave .It is like we could drink all day and keep absolutely sober.
ü..Finally. That man is the richest whose pleasures are cheapest!

When I reached intellectual maturity, and began to ask myself whether I was an atheist, a theist, or a pantheist; a materialist or an idealist; or a freethinker, I found that the more I learned and reflected, the less ready was the answer; until at last I came to the conclusion that I had neither art nor part with any of these denominations, except the last !
